LoL Guess FAQ

What is LoL Guess?
LoL Guess is a free daily League of Legends guessing game played in the browser: guess a champion, an ability and an item a day, each from up to five clues that go from hardest to easiest.
How do you play LoL Guess?
Each day has a champion, an ability and an item to guess. Each starts with one hard clue. A wrong guess reveals the next, easier clue. You have up to five clues per answer, and the fewer you use, the better your score.
Is LoL Guess free?
Yes. Every daily and the whole archive are free, with no account.
When do new puzzles come out?
A new set goes live every day at midnight Eastern Time (America/Toronto).
Do I need an account or an app?
No. LoL Guess runs in any web browser on phone or computer, and progress saves in your browser. There is no account or sign-in.
How do ability guesses work?
Pick a champion, then Q, W, E or R. Passives are never the answer.
Which items can be the answer?
Summoner’s Rift shop items. The guess box suggests matching items as you type, and common shorthand such as IE or BotRK works.
Where can I get hints?
The hints page gives spoiler-free nudges for each of today’s answers: the letter count, the first letter and the easiest clue, each hidden until you tap it.
Is LoL Guess made by Riot Games?
No. It is a fan project and is not endorsed by Riot Games. League of Legends, its champions, abilities, items and artwork belong to Riot Games.
